Aloha! My name is Noelle Fujii, and I’m a writer based in Hawaii. I’m currently a writer for Hawaii Business magazine, where I write features and shorter stories for the publication’s print, digital and social media platforms.
Prior to working at the magazine, I attended the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a minor in Japanese. In between attending classes, most of my time was spent at the Ka Leo O Hawai‘i newspaper, where I served as news editor and the editor-in-chief.
I also had internships at Hawaii Business, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, a daily newspaper, and Honolulu Civil Beat, an investigative news website. During the summer of 2016, I participated in the Asian American Journalists Association VOICES multimedia journalism training program as a student reporter.
